Love defines Jesus. He loves us so much that “he laid down his life for us” (verse 16). We are called to love as Jesus loved – unconditionally. It’s easy to be annoyed with a co-worker or frustrated with you spouse, but Jesus died for him or her, too. We are all undeserving but have been showered with the grace of God.
