Paul tells us that by giving your life to Jesus and living for Him daily, you have a new life. The Greek meaning of “new” that is used here is connected with royalty terms (kings and queens). Through Jesus, you are ROYALTY. Don’t let your past dull your crown. You are a daughter of the King. Nothing in your past is greater than your Father.
