What’s Your Perspective? 8.18.17

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

2 Corinthians 4:18

What is consuming your thoughts today? Sometimes we can get so consumed in life situations that we completely forget to see everything in the light of Christ. How does your Father view the situation you are battling with today?  We can be going through the darkest time but little do we know, God views this as a precious, essential part of our life. Without the trials and hard times, we wouldn’t be the strong, determined women we were created to be. The eternal value outweighs the short pain we are feeling in the middle of the hardship.

Living a life for Christ is all about perspective. Where are your eyes? On the struggle or on the Savior? We can be content in all situations, through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13) Keep your eyes on the one who overcame death and loves you unconditionally. I promise, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Trust the process, He knows what He’s doing. (Romans 28:8)
