“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

What a week. With Hurricane Harvey becoming one of the worst and costliest natural disasters in US History and continued world unrest, our world today can seem unreal at times. Thank God for his compassion and comfort. He is there for us in “all our troubles” so that we can be the light in this dark world. While there are so many different ways to help the hurting during tragedy, let us not forget to pray to the ultimate comforter for comfort and peace.
