Have you ever heard the widespread childhood saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”? Forgive me for being frank, but this is 100% false. Words are powerful. They can hurt, but they can also heal.

I bet you have felt the power of words whether building you up or tearing you down. It is my prayer today to be intentional with my words to build others up and let God heal their bones.
