Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Jesus spoke these words to his disciples when they asked who can be saved.  A lot of times, this verse is used out of context. It shifts to imply that God can make anything I want bad enough happen. While God can obviously make anything happen, the purpose of this verse is to show God’s grace, mercy, and power. He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to bridge the gap between His perfection and our brokenness. I encourage you to take some time today to reflect on His love and thank Him for His grace.
