And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Philippians 1:6

You were created for a certain purpose. God has a plan for you and each day, He is refining you into the Christian woman you were created to be.

Think about gold. When it is first found, it is full of impurities and has to be cleaned to have any worth. The gold is grinded up, put through fire, melted down and then formed.

We are the gold. The work began when you said “yes” to Jesus. Through the hard, dark times and the bright, happy times — God is transforming you into the masterpiece you ultimately were created to be. And it’s a promise, He’s not ever going to give up on you. Even when it feels like you can’t get it right, your Father is there.
