“O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” Psalms 34:8

During weeks like this one, full of disaster, hate, and death, it isn’t difficult to see all of the evil around us. Our world is full of sin and heartbreak, but this beautiful and uplifting Psalm reassures us that our God is good. He is faithful and full of love, hope, and life. What a blessing it is to take refuge in Him.

I may not know your story or what you are going through this very moment, but there is one thing I do know. The Creator of the universe and the Creator of you is there for comfort and protection. We don’t have all of the answers and cannot even fathom why there is so much darkness here on earth. However, we do have hope in Jesus, the baby born in the most humble way that became love and life for us.
