“Then he called the crowd along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. for whoever wants to save their life will lost it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” Mark 8:34-35

Life can easily become about doing and achieving. It’s easy to get kind of selfish with our time and resources. This verse is something that I repeating to myself these days to constantly remember that my life isn’t about me. It’s not about elevating or promoting myself. It’s actually the opposite – dying to myself daily to live for Him.
