Why is adulting so hard? Transparency moment: sometimes I feel like if I could figure out this whole wife thing and cook every night, have a rockin’ bod and make tons of money, my life would be so easy. Lies, lies, lies.

Good news! We can stop trying to meet the expectations the world puts on our shoulders. When we walk with Him daily and see those expectations as a waste of time, we experience real freedom. Sometimes our daily lives can be packed full of demands that run us ragged. That’s how the enemy distracts us from the One who gives your life true purpose.

Your Father simply asks you to daily align your life with Him and He will take care of the rest. It’s a promise. Today I pray you rid your day of distractions and focus on the Provider who gives you rest. Relax girlfriend, He’s got this.
