Do you ever ask yourself, “What’s the point of spending time in God’s word?” You might subconsciously think that prayer and doing nice things for other people are good enough. I’ve often struggles with not prioritizing my time alone with God. Life gets busy and that is often what gets cut short.

This verse is such an encouragement to me and helps me to refocus my time in God’s word. Spending time with Him isn’t about growing our head knowledge but it is about knowing him. It helps to give us endurance to continue to fight the good fight and hope in eternity with our Father.
