Christianity has one purpose — to follow Jesus. Being a “christian” isn’t about what church you go to, how many Hillsong Worship songs you know or how quick you can spout out a bible verse. The bread and butter of being a Christian is Jesus.

Who He is to you, personally, is the game changer. He is the only key to spending eternity in Heaven. If you have ever doubted or wondered where you will go after you die, walk with me through the Roman Road. It leads straight to Heaven.

You are a sinner, no matter who you are.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

Because of the sin you have committed since you were small, you are not capable to earn access to heaven. No matter how many days you go to church or how much money you give to the poor — you can never do enough to get rid of your own sin.

God couldn’t bare being separated from you so He provided a way out.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

God loves you — so so much. Through Jesus Christ, he provided a way for you to spend eternity with Him in Heaven, no matter how much you’ve sinned or what you’ve done. Jesus paid for your sin by dying on the cross and on the third day, rose from the grave. He overcame death! And He had you in mind — He did this all for you.

The key to eternity with God is through Jesus. Not just believing but making Him Master and Lord.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10

Don’t miss this. We are talking life or death. Not just believing but turning your life over to Jesus. Even Satan and his demons believe in Jesus. What gives you eternal life is giving your whole life to Him. Proclaiming out-loud, whole heartily that He is your master. Your life is not your own anymore, you want to full-out live and obey Him.

You do not have to live in the dark, isolated place you’ve been living in. Jesus has provided a way out! There is over-the-top, never ending joy and peace when you give your life to Jesus.
