The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.

Psalm 29:11 (NLT)

The God whose power is behind each lightning bolt, controls each rain storm and directs the seasons to change is the same God who provides strength, peace and direction to His people. As I watch the rain fall, I am reminded of the sovereign power and authority our Father has over everything. Not just our lives, he controls the weather. He has the final say on when it rains and when the sun shines. He also controls when we are employed and when we’ve been unemployed for over a year. He is behind each blessing and also allows struggles to bubble up. He has His hand in every situation, He’s in the middle of each circumstance we face.

During the hard seasons of life, our weaknesses are shown more clearly. If we would daily call on Him and align our lives with His perfect will, we would be blessed with His strength and peace. It is a promise we can stand on.

When we recognize our weakness and need for Him, that’s when we are made strong. (2 Corinthians 12:11). I pray you call on Him today. He will replace your struggle with strength.
