“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8

When I think about instruction, my mind immediately goes to school. Education is one of those necessary institutions that, for most children, isn’t the most fun; however, it proves to be beneficial when they need jobs in adulthood.

In this verse, we see that the Lord instructs, teaches, and counsels out of his love. In school, the instructor teaches, and it is our responsibility to open our minds to learn. In the same way, we must open our hearts and minds to God’s instruction and counsel. Is there something he is trying to teach you today? Today, I pray that your heart is open to Him.
