“I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we have asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king.”
Daniel 2:23

King Nebuchadnezzar of the Babylonian Empire had a bit of a nightmare. He ordered that the wise men (one of which was Daniel) to repeat his dream and explain it. This is obviously impossible for any man. When no one could recite his dream, the king ordered for all wise men to be killed – a little on the extreme side. Daniel and his friends fervently prayed to God to reveal the dream to one of them and give it’s meaning. This verse is Daniel’s praise to God for answering their prayer. Talk about the power of prayer. Even when a task or a situation seems impossible, God is with you and will work all situations out for your good.
