“You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for mercy. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.” Psalm 86:5-7

How frustrating is it when you are talking to someone and they completely ignore you? Most of the time, I think the other person probably just didn’t hear, but it is still super frustrating. It’s so encouraging to know that God is always listening, and he answers when we cry out to him. The part that can trip us up, is when we don’t hear or see our prayers being answered immediately. In the midst of pain and suffering, that’s hard. There is no check list to make it any easier. The only thing we can do is trust our father because his mercies are new every morning.
